Being a business owner means you carry a lot of weight on your shoulders. From managing your staff to pleasing your customers, you must always be on top of your investment. In addition, if a problem arises, you are the one who has to solve the issue. However, what if the issue was brought on by an unpredictable event, such as a natural disaster? To handle situations like these that cause major damage and possibly injury, you need protection you can trust.
According to The Monrovia Patch, two local members of congress are asking Gov. Jerry Brown to push harder for federal reimbursement for damage caused by November 30th windstorms . These disasters resulted in widespread power-outages and infrastructure damage in the San Gabriel Valley.

The county was only able to document around $34 million in public costs caused by the storm. But some believe that FEMA, the federal government's disaster management bureau, will accept a declaration if the damaged area is extremely localized. "The localized impact criteria can help areas that suffer concentrated damage receive federal disaster relief even if the statewide per capita threshold is not met," a letter to Brown read. "We believe that the damage to public infrastructure in Los Angeles County from the windstorm would meet the county threshold of $3.27 per capita."
At Nancy Bond Insurance, the aftermath of a storm is the toughest time to experience alone. Many local businesses suffered damages from the winds that were beyond repair. However, not only was property damaged, but some were injured as well, both during and after the storm. Therefore, in order to protect your employees now and in the future, you need the security of our California disability insurance!
